My heart breaks for the people of Christchurch
I feel for all the families and friends of the ones who have lost their lives. For all the members of TBBD who live in Christchurch. I cannot imagine the trauma that you have all suffered and having to rebuild your lives that have been so brutally disrupted. Know that all around the country and in fact all around the world our prayers are with you.
I feel so useless that I cannot help. I cannot watch TV or listen to the radio as the despair I feel just makes me sink deeper into my black hole.

Re: My heart breaks for the people of Christchurch
Dear IB Maree
Thanks for your very kind words. It is dreadful to see this city crumble before your eyes. The wee kids going to school that morning all shouting and skateboarding and throwing schoolbags at each other, their mums hurrying them up, my next door neighbour has 3, one in a pram and two at school, that afternoon at 12 30 I walked her up the road a bit towards middle school, admiring her new baby then the noise came and the rubble and dust, oh my god Maree the holy terror and the news just got worse and steadily worser (to use Paddy's terminology. Worser and worser with liquid concretete blowing up like fountains and cars overturning, their horns and lights on forever.
The despair lightened only by seeing people crawl out of their cars and being able to help them just stand upright. This is horrible, if we had somewhere to go we'd go truly.

Re: My heart breaks for the people of Christchurch
Thanks for the love and support it is truly appreciated. The damage we have is to things not ourselves or our dogs thank God.
All of my pictures fell onto the floor and are shattered. Ornaments china gone broken even in the china display cabinet, precious things my mother gave me and my little ornament of a Sidney Silky Terrier. Oh god I am blubbing and feeling sorry for myself people have lost their lives here, decent people at their work doing things sorry.
