Mixed day but some good outcomes

Really hard to believe I am posting in here, espically after I almost walked out of my job today after reaching the end of my teather. A number of good things came about cos of this.

First I finally got in touch with the chairperson of the goverance committee. We are still without a manger which as you can imangine is causeing all sorts of issues. She came stright over and I just unloaded. She had been aware I have been dealing with a large caseload but was not aware how large and was not aware of some of the issues I am working with along side my clients. She has promised to have a look at my workload.

I had luch with Wownz, it was much appreciated Wow. It was good just to sit for half and hour and chat, even though I did most of the talking, sorry lol.

After lunch we had a chat me and a staff member who had an incident and cleared the air. The we got the other staff in and we had a good dicussion on whats happening, what we feel and think and we were listened to.

We are currently have a consultant working with us to get ready for our audit and reviewing our processes. I had a quick meeting with her today over monthly reporting. She had taken the Health and Safety and Emergency Management Poicly away last week. When I started at work there was no Health and Safety Policy or Emerency Management Policy. I work implemented both. I asked if she had any feedback on either policy, how could they be improved and she said they were great and she was impressed.
