listening to lately?

I'm really enjoying three in particular this week - Neil Young, Harvest Moon; Grace, Black Sand Shore; and Nathan King, The Croud.

The Corrs are getting a bit of airplay too - but not so keen on Enya, I ain't. Not keen enough to wanna keep this particular CD anyhow.

So, whatchu gotta swap for 'The Best of Enya, Paint the Sky with Stars'???
CD ' jewel case, inserts, cd - all in used, secondhand condition.

Mmmmm? Anything? No Rap or Operatics but I've been around a few years, I might even consider a Country cd as a swap. Or Kate Bush (crikey, some high notes there, eh?)

Happy Listening, You Lot and I'm glad that I'm back amongst the folk who let music enter their lives again.

Paddy.

P.S. Enya is now right up there with Billy Joel - eeeew.

Oh Paddy I did have a bit of a giggle...my idea of hell is having to listen to Billy Joel-I can't stand him!! Razz In my Goth days I used to listen to Kate Bush a lot, she does have an 'interesting' voice I agree. Lately I've been listening to The Smiths and have been laughing at all the great lines that Morrisey writes...they appeal to my warped sense of humour! Laughing Good luck with the music swapping.

Yep, I gotta say The Corrs rate as 'Cool' in my book.

Sheesh, I bet that makes their day when they log in and read it for themselves, pfffft.

Having a 'mid to late 50's' rock and roll night tonight, just cos I can (remember and understand the words, that is).

Meanwhile, poor Enya sits here, knowing she is not loved. She is even isolated in the CD Rack. C'mon, I'm feeling bad now. Who will take Enya? Razz

Poor little Enya, still here, still unappreciated. Sob Sob. Rolling Eyes

Todays music purchases (2nd hand) were The Pretenders, Metallica (a Chch Concert coming up, I hear - in addition to Auckland). R.H. Chili Peppers & a compilation of #1 Hits from 'back in my days' in the 60's.

Meanwhile, Enya sits and waits - she waits for You Dear Reader because she knows she is unloved and not really wanted, here. Poor, poor Enya.

If one of youse doesn't want her, I shall pick a membership name at random and make it compulsory that the Loser take the cd. So, ya been warned.

Enya Needs You. Razz

I'll meet your chuckle and raise you a snigger. Wink

Why not Metallica, JK?
I was listening to hard core rock when I was a little boy in the early 60's - there was a lot of 'stuff' coming out of England on 45's and well, I had big brothers who were into it.

Who likes Suzi Quatro? Whose even heard heard Suzi?

Relax, You Lot - Enya is no longer at my place. Watchubin 944681

I knew I'd eventually meet someone too polite to say No, haha.

Good Bye Enya.

And Many Thanks to the new owner of that CD for taking it. Whew.

Paddy.
