I want my Bug back!

Blimmin TBT. I got me a treat today, from the Op Shop – a revolting looking plastic ‘Bug’ – it could be a cockroach, but I prefer to think of it as a Weta, cos I love weta, I do.

I made the mistake of showing it to my cat, didn’t I? And TBT was rather ‘taken’ with it.

Or more correctly, the bug was rather taken by TBT. Right out the front door and over the fence to next door, mutter mutter. I can see it, but I can’t quite reach it, ya know?

Won’t I feel silly knocking on the old blokes door and saying ‘Please Sir, may I get my weta back from your garden?’ He’s a retired GP. Ya can guess what he’ll think – this young chap is losing his mind etc etc etc. Usually, he’d be dead right but this time, I really do want me weta back, pffft.

Bloody cat – if I end up in a straight jacket cos I want me weta back, I ain’t gunna be too happy, TBT!

I say go knock on his door and ask if you can have your weta back.

If you explain whats happened he may even have a laugh along with you.

Good on yah TBT, moths and cockroaches are definitely allowed to be chased, swallowed, or pawed at.... but Weta to eat a Weta or not...take a good look at yah best pal TBT it's not worth giving up your blue top and shortbread ah!

Me Weta is home. Don't tell TBT cos I don't trust her anymore. Blimmin cat.

I had to go and visit next door 'cos they were mowing the lawn and I could see what would happen. And yep, their reaction was a bit like I predicted it might be. Bloody cat. But, me weta is home.

Life is better with a weta!
