I went and had a look at a flat tonight. They asked me why I was only working part time. I explained I had depression which was under control. They asked how under control, and I said it was well under control and was on meds. They couldnt show me the door quick enough!

Its still a huge stigma Ros, no matter how many John Kirwins come out of the woodwork.

This is real life for people with a mental illness. I am too scared to tell anyone I work with and I'm a mental health nurse.
