Dealing with the way I feel is hard enough without a b/f that doesnt seem to care.
Ever since I had my breakdown he has become more and more distant - I have tried to talk to him about it and he says its all in my head!
We live in different towns and since the breakdown our communication has dropped right back, I seem to be the one ringing him now and he has stopped talking to me on MSN and conversations on the phone are very short.
Its starting to really bring me down - I have spent today crying - if he wants to leave me I wish he would just say.
I feel like my heart is breaking and my head is in turmoil. I wake at night and he is on my mind, when he does talk to me its distant and when I ask him whats up he just says hes busy - yet he spends hours on another sites message board.
Im tired of living like this - Im tired of feeling unacceptable - why cant he just say what he is feeling.
I want things to get sorted between us - Id like things to be the way they were before June last year ....I hate being in this position

I think you need to tell him how much his attitude is really hurting you. I hope it's not that he doesn't care - it's probably more that he just doesn't understand and he's afraid! Dealing with a loved one who has mental illness can be very difficult, not knowing what to do, what to say...I don't know how long you've been together, but sometimes we need to put ourselves first. It might mean having a break in your relationship, but sometimes the hardest decision is the best one we'll make.
