Finially finishing my table and chairs
Well just about, just need to buy the clear vinyl stuff I want to cover top of table. Brought the set of TM probably close to 18months ago with plans of recovering the chairs and re-painting it all, and now in the last week I've finally finished it. This is what happens when I'm not working as much lol. Please ignore any mess in the background or on the floor.

Re: Finially finishing my table and chairs
I'd be very proud of the job you have done too, LC. Congrats, hon – see, tenacity really does pay off. Your dining suite looks pretty swish, LC.
I look forward to sitting there at it and having a yoghurt and pizza with you one day, maybe?
Hmmm; Costume design and creation, being ‘cool enough’ to wear costumes in public, furniture restoration, Eternal Optimist (chairs, car, no fit but gotta try anyway, pffft) – what a cool range of skills you have, young lady.
Its people like you who make me wish TBBD had a wee fund to maybe help ya get into a part time hobby/business or whatever ‘cos I think you could be very successful as an entrepreneur. So there!
In fact, you maybe should be checking out the WINZ Enterprise Allowance and Grant and I dunno, set up with an industrial sewing machine, a room full of good or interesting secondhand clothing to remodel as costumes, and away ya go. Or, get a wee van or a trailer haunt OpShops and your local TM area auctions and pick up furniture to restore. If you ever need help compiling a Business Plan to support a funding request to WINZ or whoever, let me know.
Oh Goody, a whole new range of ideas for UnclePaddy to Nag poor LC over, woohoo. If only I could get me own life sorted so easily, eh? You should be proud, LC.

Re: Finially finishing my table and chairs
hehe thanks guys
Am going to get started on my headboard next. Then am gonna hunt TM for a set of cheap drawers (coz I don't got none) and re-do them up.

Re: Finially finishing my table and chairs
'Cos ya said ya have no Drawers (Drawers is an old fashioned word for Knickers, which led me to Knickerless which then became Nicholas. I was being silly) - sorry, I blame the meds.
Am I the only one who thought that was mildly amusing? Dang, thats embarrassing then, innit?

At the risk of hijacking LC’s Thread which I don’t want to do, can I just say ML, that you Really Scare me.
Gosh it is scary enough being related - but to find you immediately understand my warped sense of humour, also? No sorry, that really is just one scary too many, ML.
Oh and …
Do you KNOW WHY Ned Kelly first started wearing that ‘Head Armour’? Had nothing to do with bank robberies, I can tell ya that. Nope …
It was to shut out the sound of Nagging from his Mother.
Her maiden name was ‘Quinn’, true. No book ‘tells it like it really was’, but I can think of no better reason for sticking ya head in a metal bucket, than having a Quinn nagging atchya.
You were Murdered, Ned – Not Executed. Funnily enough and I bet he’s not laughing too loudly himself, it rather does look as though the Court which convicted and hanged him had no legal jurisdiction to do so. That was hurried through posthumously according to some whose analysis I’ve read.
Incidentally, LC – how goes the Drawer Hunt?
Do you have anything in particular in mind? Like a dressing table with mirror and drawers etc, or a Scotch Chest (personally recommended so I’m told, by our sweet Member ‘Daze7’, pffft) or something totally different, hon?
I’d be happy to keep an eye out for some drawers for ya; they turn up in our Local Op Shop from time to time.
Oh and LC, have you eaten yet today? Mmmm?
Mmwah,
Nagger Quinn.
