Flat Tyre. Empty Flat Tyre.

Bugger.

My mobility scooter has a puncture in one of its tyres. And it be a tubeless tyre, it be, so I can't fix it.

Bugger, bugger, bugger.

Luckily, there is a tyre shop a few hundred metres down the road. Unluckily, I generally need a mobility scooter for me to travel a few hundred metres these days. I can't even use me car, unless I can scoot out to where its parked, Bugger. Have I said that yet?

Bugger.

So, I guess I shall be walking it. Which mean, I need both crutches, which means I can't carry the scooter wheel unless its in a wee backpack, on my back. And the reason I don't use my backpack on my back? 'Cos it further compresses my spine and adds significantly to my daily 'woes' for several days afterwards. So, its going to be one of those 'grit one's teeth' type walks, on Monday, I fear. And I've had a few too many days like that already this month, to be honest. I'm starting to think that maybe I'm doing some others buggers pennances as well as my own, sigh.

Feck, I'm fed up. I really really am starting to get quite shitty, Life. Take heed! I wouldn't mind a break or two going in my favour for a while if its not too much to ask for, Universe? Please?

And I'm not talking about another bone either. They break easy enough without Cosmic assistance, thanks.

Rant Over. Replies aren't needed - I just felt the need to vent. Oh, Joy Is Me. Pfffft.

Hi Paddy you should join the AA and claim the cost of it back from WINZ disability fund if you can.

You're allowed to vent Paddy, and you have every right to. There should be a place for a spare wheel on the scooters. I assume it wouldn't be easy for anyone who has to rely on them to get around. How many other have been in the same situation as you and ended up stranded somewhere. It could be very dangerous.
