Re: you know what
I'm sorry you felt that way, Pam.
There was nothing there that I could see anyone here taking offense with or at.
I reckon, young Pam, that you need to be more kind to yourself, and allow yourself to acknowledge the strength and the appropriateness of your hurt, anger, disappointment; don't you?
There are times when those feeling are all very valid and I'da thunked, young Pam, that you were not all that entirely without reason or cause for your Vent.
Be gentle with you eh, and don't feel you need to self-censor here, cos I suspect you don't.
Pat.

Re: you know what
Thankyou Pat, I would just have hated to cause hurt to anyone by mistake. You and I both know, it was in no way aimed at anyone on this board.

Re: you know what
now I'm curious as to what was said...
It is usually the posts when people post what they TRULY think and feel that are more interesting than posts that are self censored from fear that others will be offended.
IMHO anyway.

Re: you know what
hmmm Peterpam....I think we have all done that in one way or another at one time or another.
I think we are all adult enough to realise that sometimes when we log onto here we are not always stable (funny that!) and sometimes things are said perhaps out of context or character and could be taken with exception, even the unintended exception.
The important thing with this site (In my humble opinion) is that we are allowed to vent. scream, shout etc and be supported by fellow members with positive comments.
Don't let what you say here bother you - easier said than done I know! The reason that I say that is because someone may even agree with you but not want to be the first to say so, or they may feel the way you do and feel isolated. You would help them by telling your view too - then they would see they were not the only ones feeling like that.
I hope that made sense to you - because it was written in a bit of a gibberish way,

Re: you know what
Hi guys, I felt I needed to explain, when I made this post last evening I was overwhelmed by something that was going on in my life, which I had thought I had healed from. Clearly not, so back to the drawing board. I did not edit out of fear, I edited because there are others here struggling with related issues, that are trying so very hard and I did not want those lovely people to feel my hurt, as it may well have impacted on them and their situation.
Paddy thankyou hun, I needed that hug as the night only got worse, (different issue). Today I had to make a VERY hard call which involved something to do with my daughter her drinking and her impact on my wee darling grandbaby. I had to ask her to leave my home and not come back until she sorted her behaviour. I did this because whilst she stayed with me and I looked after our wee one, I was enableing her to neglect and there is no way I am going to let that happen. Tonight I am a little numb, but as she had been warned, I felt I had no other avenue. I will still see my wee darling (hopefully) but it wont be the same. Before she left I hugged my wee one (with much sadness) and told her how much I loved both her and her mummy, but I needed mummy to deal with her issues. Now I could do with another hug, the tears are starting to roll.

Re: you know what
Yep I can totally relate to emotionally draining weekends!! As a matter a fact I could probably classify this year as emotionally draining.
All I can say is onwards and upwards my friend. OK?

awwwww! pam!
posts of this nature (I didntget to read it) are good for the clarification (transparency) of ones ego.
This we must do,
as egos need thorough cleansing like
tears do in un-earthing ones Soul!

Re: you know what
Of course you are young!!
People in my book don't get old until they are in their 80's - of course this gets moved with every decade I turn over!
