Can dreams have after-effects?

Post by suems on Sun Sep 06, 2009 8:39 pm

And if they do, how do you get rid of them?

During my Beta-Blocker phase, when I had no sleep for a week, except for brief nightmares. I had one very powerful dream which haunted me for days, and I still feel kind of guilty about.

I live on a small farm, and, during this dream, we were visited by a white horse with a matching white miniature poodle called Rizillo. (hey, dreams don't have to make sense, right?) Anyway, I put the horse in the sheep paddock for the night, and locked Rizillo in the garage, until I could contact their owners in the morning.

When I got up in the morning, as soon as I had my shower and got dressed I went out to sort out these animals, The horse had disappeared - I reasoned that it must have jumped the fence and gone home, but I was devastated that I couldn't let the dog out of the garage, because WE DON"T HAVE A GARAGE!

I spent days feeling guilty that I had killed a dog which doesn't exist, by locking it in a garage that doesn't exist. In reality, I own neither horses nor dogs, and if I did, it would be a German Shepherd, not a poodle, but I felt awful about this poor stupid poodle. The horse may have been sourced in reality, since we did have a horse invasion the week before, when the neighbours horses pushed down a fence and 4 got into the orchard, and yes, there was a white one among them, but this poodle really upset me!

How can you get rid of emotions relating to dreams like this?

Suems,
what a fantastic-LIFE-meaning dream you have witnessed within your dreaming world.

You must write this One in your new Dream diary;I see you are about to create.
No wonder the dream followed you about a few days
and you felt (not so good) for stuffing Rizillo
in the presently-unknown location of the GARAGE!

Very few people have DEEP and MEANINGfull dreams depicting their Original Sickness as you have done and shared with us here. Many will be able to pick-up from your dream, insider-information as I have done and spun it back to you...the way they see it to be;Not my way!

FIRSTLY,
" how do you get rid of them?"
This you must not do. The energy in a dream requires that you understand fully,
otherwise the dream will RE-occur...maybe it Has already,
but if it hasnt then unless you know the meaning for your life,
it will re-occur.

SECONDLY,
"(hey, dreams don't have to make sense, right?)"
Wrong. If a dream has the effect Yours had on you
it must be dis-iphered.

THIRDLY,
A Horse is like the ego!
Egos BOLT and need a Rider to bring them under control,
and care for them, by putting 'em in a paddock and feeding 'em the right substances
so as to NOT make em sick!

FOURTHLY,
Rizillo IS in the garage, and will BE-THERE "until I can contact its owner in the morning."...morning is like its sister-word Dawning. This is a dream you have to SLEEP-ON. You will gain recognition from awakening.
Awakening you are ,
You have mistaken your ego as yourSELF and this is at all times the most important reason for our Life. (to unravel Your truth)

Some ppl think that Mankinds ORIGINAL-SIN aint the Apple of EVE,its to do with 'separateness from eden';the World as we knew it before our Minds gave it another meaning, Our parents meaning of Course!
This is our-conditioning which takes its seat in our minds and makes our life, what it is today! Conditioning and ego's are what we do to make ourself dim-witted
and intime become dark,
as though the Light Has Gone OUT!
The Light NEVER goes out infact,
IT JUST GETS FORGOTTEN. Buried.

FIFTLY,
"We dont have a garge!"
Your parents never understood their minds and therefore were in the DARK regarding the fact that the SUB-concious really dose exist. So How could they educate you? They may have been caught up in some kind of religious belief,or carried on with some archaic belief system from ages ago? Who Knows...
What we do know how-ever
is that you think you dont have a garage.

Some ppls minds Think too-hard and will miss this point completely.

What you do in THIS-SITUATION
is draw a picture of your dream GARAGE on a piece of PAPER and tonite,
when sitting beside your BED,
place your picture under the pillow and say to yourself,
"the solution is comming to me!"
Say this three times and sip-slowly a glass of clear-water as you sip;so that you take in your thoughts as you drink!
You will gain further information within the night,
or the Nights to come as you do this each night!
That way your SUB-conciousness(garage)will make itself known to YOU,
with its appropriate things that you require to hear as true answers to your lifes-questions...

Do this
and all will come clear
love

"How can you get rid of emotions relating to dreams like this?"
Never!
Loosing oneself is sad.
We must allow natures grief to set things right
when ever we loose something special!

Wow! I had never thought of it quite like that!

I did as you suggested, and went to bed last night determined to clarify where that dream had come from. I must admit I think I know where the garage came into the picture.

We have recently purchased an 11 acre block, and moved into our new house just before Xmas. It's not finished, and doesn't have a garage yet. That will come with stage 3 of the construction. Living in an unfinished house with a husband who spends most of his time in Australia has played a big part in my current situation, and not having a garage is a symbol of sorts of the finishing that may never come.

The horse was just an annoyance that I have the resources to cope with (ie putting it in with the sheep)

I may have even figured out the dog. (although I want an alsation, not a poodle). The original purpose behind moving to a block of land was to have enough space to get a big dog, but now that we're here, we don't have a garage for it to sleep in, and we have sheep, so a dog is currently out of the question.

Now that I have kind of figured out what my twisted mind was trying to tell me, I feel a lot calmer, and no longer guilty about murdering that poor poodle!

Now I have to sort out the unfulfilled promises of dog and garage, and come to terms with not getting them for a while.

Thank you so much for helping me clarify all this; I'm so glad I found this group.

Check-out the SHIPPING COMPANIES.......
they sell damaged CONTAINERS cheaply
and these make good temporary GARAGES.
Currently,I have been commissioned to use shipping containers to design a Clients Home.
I won a design award in architecture here,(many years back)
for the most energy efficient,solar-sensitive,water efficient tropical House for the Govt.
With a little thought on Insulation, shipping containers can be arranged to provide BIG houses.
Things dont have tobe small aye!
Gidday Rizillo!

Funny you should mention containers - we already have one (a 20 footer) on the property, and it's filled with all the stuff that should be in the garage we don't have yet!
We have looked at converted containers, but our driveway has some tight corners on it that a container truck carrying a 40 footer could not negotiate.

I have discussed the garage and the dog with my husband, and we have now agreed to put the next phase of construction as a higher priority, since living in a building site is obviously a major stressor.

Oh, and it looks like I may be getting my German Shepherd at Xmas - I guess I'll have to call it Rizillo, huh? Maybe Rizzo?

Once I figured out that the poodle and garage were locked in the FUTURE, the rest started to make sense. Thank you greasemonkey!
