Re: First time on meds
A lot of people have mentioned that to me..But I want it to fix on it's own.
For the past week I have kept track of my moods...only the sad moods, not happy..
Off to the docs this afternoon to have a check up on how i'm going..I'll just give her all my notes.
I know the meds can take 4-6 weeks, i'm just inpatient. I'm not helping myself though, so it's my fault.
Life is life, it can be a great thing, I know that, but right now it sucks and what i'm doing (work), i'm going to be doing for the rest of my life and since I don't have hobbies, interests, etc, I don't see a point of it.
YES, I know I can go out and find hobbies, join teams, volunteer but I don't have the motivation anymore to even attempt to try look.
I'm a lost cause some of the time

Glad it's only some of the time you're a lost cause in your own mind.
And you have had some times of happy moods over the last week! Great!! I know you will probably say,"But they were few and not for long and they don't really count," or something like that, but that's the dark glasses of depression that you're seeing through, remember. They do count.
And I gather you're managing to hold on to a job. Believe me, that's an achievement.
Your motivation will improve as you become well again. You know what? This is a time to be very gentle and kind to yourself. Compassionate towards a hurting person. Will you try to let that happen? Good.
