Shocked kiaora everyone,another noob here.found the link on tm(ist time id been on tm in ages too)
so thought id pop in for a look.im an agoraphobic with depresion,and i work in the industry as a peer support worker and a public speaker for like minds trust (wich is a mision with agoraphobia!).
i love the name of the forum.

It's sounds like a good job that you have. I don't work but do volunteer at the Sallies when I'm up to it. I suffer from depression anxiety and a few other things that can make me feel sorry for myself if I let it. The people on here are kind and supportive, i hope that you find the same.

thanks me,i hope to be a frequent poster!my job as a peer support is voluntary too,and my public speaking is a bit sporadic at the mo as my boss is sick and i only work with him,not solo.
i love the jobs though,they keep my mind off my own problems!

I have heard of something like that through mental health. It's such a good idea, no one knows what we all go through better that others who have experienced it too.

it really helps me,and its good pay for the speaking.free training too.i dont know who does it outside of whangarei,but here its run by nga morehu trust.
