The blade pierces through pale white skin
Skin already covered in scars both old and new
She sits surrounded by her cape
A cape of darkness that doesn’t let the light in
Tears roll down her cheeks dropping onto her wrist
Mixing with her blood and rolling down her arm
And she sits and rocks
Back and forth, a gentle motion
Her sobs full the room as she closes her eyes and tries to forget.

The Cliff

I stand at the top of the cliff
With its crumbling rocks threatening to fall
And take me down with them.
I stand at the top and look down.
Look down the steep drop
And wonder.
Wonder what it would be like to jump off
And soar down it
Land in a pile at the bottom.
But what about the people left behind?
At this time I’m sorry to say
But I don’t really care
If those people really love me
Then they will come to understand
The pain and everything was too much for me to bare
I couldn’t handle it any more.
I didn’t mean for it to end this way.

Please don't read too much into this one, despite how I am feeling at present time I am safe and not going to do anything, it's just getting feelings out into words.

Isn't it great that you can get your feelings out in written words - hopefully it is healing for you.

LC I truely hope you are feeling a bit brighter, and *sigh* I know it hurts more sometimes to smile in front of everyone, than to cry alone. We have all done that I believe.

Keep going girl, you'll be fine sunny
