Bloody Hell.

Post by Paddy2 on Thu Mar 05, 2009 7:18 pm

I entered a 'poem' I posted here, in a local Library writing competition a few months back.

I got an email today; I hope you don't object to my skiting?

"Hi – I am really pleased to tell you that you have won the “General entry” category of our competition with your entry “The passing”. The prize is $200 worth of book vouchers, which we would like to hand over as soon as we can organize a time to get our judge, the student entry winner and you together at the same time. I will contact you soon with some possible dates for this.

Regards

Melanie

LOl,

My mate Dave builds special coffins for ppl who want something different.
The last one were for a Canoist
who knew Her time was-up and She wanted to be remembered this way.

Well, Before She died,
Dave threw a Party(a Big one)and many artists musicians and poets came. The main act was a Mock Funeral for Dave(Hes gonna go soon too)surrounded by eight or so 14th centuary muscians
an He hid in the newly finished casket, untill the speeches an the Obituary were were read,
when he made His entrance.
Tirrah!

A well deserved winner. A great poem. We do so very much need to live in symbiosis with our natural world and each other too. Smile A great read indeed.
