Re: LC in Hospital
Just heard from LC, they are going to keep her in hospital for about another week. She is on different meds and they want to monitor her on them. Apparently these ones will also help her sleep which should be a real blessing for her.

Re: LC in Hospital
In sleep we dream.
In dreams magic happens.
If and when things get too-great to handle
Grace occurs wipping the slate
so we can start again.
Sleep is important.
If you dont dream
you go mad!
REM is for everyone.
enjoy

Re: LC in Hospital
Hey guys,
Well I'm out, I'm not yet officially discharged until 2 November so am just on leave, this is because the medication I've been put on has only just been accepted for a govt subsidy which comes in on 1 November, so to be able to apply for a special authorisation number we need to wait till then otherwise is would cost me possibly a few hundred a month to be on it.
They've put me on Mirtazapine (Avanza) it's a different sort of anti-depressant, rather than a MAOI or SSRI it is a NaSSA (noradrenergic and specific serotonergic antidepressants) - and don't ask me what that really means lol. It also has a sedation effect to it which is meant to help me sleep so is taken at night, at the moment 30mins to an hour after taking it I'm often struggling to stay awake but this is meant to lessen over time. It also though gives me a constant dry mouth which I don't like.
Anyway hope to catch up with you guys over the next few days.
Thanks for all the well messages too.

Heres the MedSafe Link to that stuff - in case ya feel like reading it one of these days?
Struggling to stay awake? Music to my Nagging Ears, sweetheart.
Surrender to the sleep, my friend, you have quite zzzzzzzzzz's owing from the last few months.

Re: LC in Hospital
Where's the link Paddy?? Think ya missed it out, lol, but I've got the info anyway, my nurse printed it off for me from MedSafe last week when they told me what I was gonna go on.
