Haiku

Not art - but probably as creative as I will ever be. I wrote these about a year ago and thought I would share them here. (comments welcomed).

My first attempt at Haikus. (5-7-5 syllable poems)

I'm going under
Apathy growing stronger
A downward spiral

Life is full of pain
Numbness stops the pain for now,
Pretend not to care.

Beautiful people
Green eyed monster grows within
Will I ever be?

People all around,
Can they feel my pain today?
Ignornace is bliss.

One special person,
Why can't I be good enough?
Noone will compare.

mmm
I would like to learn haiku.
Japanese isnt it?
I believe it came out of the Zen tradition,
but im mostly wrong
when i guess.
